New Mexico Hunts We have private property in Unit 12, which is an "all weapons" unit as well as Unit 15, which is a "primitive weapon" area. This area is limited to archery and muzzleloader hunting. Licenses and tags are guaranteed through the outfitter, although there is a limited supply per species, per year. Tags in Unit 15 are more expensive than tags in Unit 12. Our ranches are located in west central New Mexico at about 7,000 feet elevation. Terrain consists of pinion and juniper woods, with open grassy draws and meadows. Stalking is easy walking with no steep mountains, although some distance walking could be involved... so come prepared to have to walk. Some stand and blind sitting/hunting can be arranged. We have over 11,000 acres of private ranchland to hunt (5 combined properties), with lots of options for locating game. Our lodging includes a rustic ranch house with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, living area, dining area, and kitchen area. We can accommodate 4 hunters per hunt with two twin beds per bedroom. Bedding and towels are provided. Hunters provide their own transportation to and from ranch. The ranch house is approximately 2 ½ hours from the Albuquerque airport. Hunt costs include daily transportation around the hunt area. The outfitter will cape and skin your kill, as well as prepare bulk pieces for cold storage. Local processing is available, or, if you wish, you can donate any or all meat to the outfitter, who will distribute it locally. Hunts including Cook and food will have; a quick self-serve breakfast before the morning hunt, a large brunch, and a full dinner after the afternoon hunt. Our cook is excellent, and we never go hungry! Snacks and drinks are available at all times. Hunters are responsible for BYOB. Pricing for Private Land Hunts
