Wayne County is in the heart of Iowa’s Zone 5. This IS the area for giant whitetails and heavy eastern turkeys. Our 3,000 acres is intensively managed for top quality trophy wildlife. With timber, food plots, agricultural and CRP fields the trophy potential is exceptional. We only book a limited amount of hunters per season, thus ensuring our clients of increased opportunities for success. Ladder stands are placed in strategic locations based on current deer activity. A 140 inch minimum is required on the harvest of whitetails.We offer archery, shotgun, and muzzle loader whitetail packages, as well as outstanding spring turkey hunting. All of our deer hunts include meals and lodging. All of our turkey hunts include lodging. References available upon request.
Non Resident Iowa licenses are issued on a draw system.
Non Resident Iowa spring turkey licenses must be applied for in January.
Non Resident Iowa deer licenses and/or points can be purchased in May.
A Non Resident will gererally require at least two points in order to draw an archery permit.
A Non resident without any points does have a chance to draw a shotgun or muzzleloader permit.
Non-resident draw results vary from year to year. To increase your chances of drawing a permit, we suggest you purchase preference points.
