Q: Are these guided hunts?
A: In Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma the hunts are semi guided. In these states your actual hunting will
be done on your own, but at the direction of the property owner/guide. In Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, and Ohio stands are provided and must be used, you will be guided to your stand. In Wyoming, Newfoundland, New Mexico, New Brunswick and Mexico hunts are generally guided 2 on 1. 1 on 1 hunts are available for an extra fee.
Q: Are these fair chase hunts?
A: YES! All of our properties are open, private and leased private, state or provincial land.
Q: Am I guaranteed to harvest the animal that
I am hunting?
A: NO! There are no harvest guarantees. All of our properties
are fair chase and have an abundant amount of game with
minimal hunting pressure. Our goal is that you have the
opportunity to be successful.
Q: What if I don't draw a license?
A: Currently Nebraska, Ohio, Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma do not have a "draw" system.
All licenses are available on line or over the counter.
A timely application will assure you of your license in these states. Illinois ia a lottery/draw state and archery applications begin in June and firearm applications are accepted in July. Wyoming is a draw state. Antelope and Deer applications must be submitted prior ro March 15th. Our Outfitters in these draw states are currently 100% successful in having their clients draw the tags they want. Iowa is also a draw state and applications are accepted in January for spring turkey and May for deer. Check our info posted with each state for additional details. If you do not draw your tag, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.
Q: Will there be other hunters in camp?
A: This depends on the timing of the hunt and location. Please check with us for a definite answer relative to your hunt.
Q: What if I want to bring along a non-hunter?
A: Non hunters are welcome. Costs vary for non hunters
depending on the hunt and location. Please contact us
for pricing.
Q: After booking, what if I am unable to go on
the hunt?
A: Deposits are non-refundable. You are welcome to find
someone to take your place on the hunt. Exceptions will be considered for medical and family emergency reasons. These decisions will be made on a case by case basis.
Q: Are there any hidden fees?
A: NO! The costs of our hunts are as provided upon request.
All license, transportation,
game care, and taxidermy fees are your responsibility.
Q: Can you recommend a taxidermist?
A: Yes, We actualy utilize three different Pennsylvania
based taxidermists. We will gladly show you some of their
work and direct you to them for any questions or concerns
you may have.
Q: Can I hunt with a crossbow?
A: Wyoming and Ohio allow crossbows during archery season.
Nebraska allows crossbows during firearms
season. Oklahoma, Missouri, and Illinois allow the use of a
crossbow after receiving a special permit. New Brunswick does not allow crossbow use. Please check
with us or the respective state game laws for specifics.
